Made with Millenium White Clay, it is tricky to create dense/heavy items that don’t explode in the kiln, so this was a small challenge. I have used Linda’s Celadon, one of my favourite glazes this year! The pestle fits nicely into the hand and the mortar has some hand carved grooves to provide some texture to grind against and for aesthetic appeal.
The Mortar is 13 cms (5”) diameter and the Pestle is 7 cms (3”) tall.
